Another DC favorite is the Air and Space museum. which is run by the Smithsonian Institution. It is actually the most popular among the various Smithsonian museums. The museum maintains the largest collection of aircraft and spacecraft in the world. Almost all space and aircraft on display are originals or backup crafts to the originals.
