Although "The Big Easy" has mostly recovered from 2005's Hurricane Katrina, there is still so much work to be done for locals. One way to help NOLA out is to visit and spend lots of tourist dollars at the city's many delicious Spanish, Caribbean and French restaurants, chic hotels and wild clubs. Don't be surprised if you encounter an impromptu corner concert by a blues musician or two while meandering through the French Quarter. This is just how they do it down south.
